I think rabbit meat is great -it's very lean and mild, and they are quite economic to raise. Good luck with your rabbitry adventure.Snohomish Shepherdesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01223525267522865376noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9079272600732355470.post-67315500097543061152011-05-08T08:15:00.619-07:002011-05-08T08:15:00.619-07:00I've never looked at the Palomino breed of rab...I've never looked at the Palomino breed of rabbits, you have my curiosity up. I will research them before I make a decision. As always I'm looking for the best breeding stock I can find to start with. <br />That's funny about geriatric farm animals, I'm not there yet, that may be interesting. What do you do with your Palomino breed of rabbit?Jewelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10612234598453063687noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9079272600732355470.post-19790069137826929102011-05-07T17:55:25.381-07:002011-05-07T17:55:25.381-07:00Jewel, I love the Palomino breed of rabbits that I...Jewel, I love the Palomino breed of rabbits that I've raised the past few years, but they can be difficult to find. I feed mine mostly alfalfa pellets -and treats from the garden during the growing season. I've personally found the hardest part of trying to have each animal project pay for itself is what to do when the older breeding stock stops producing. It becomes costly if you end up feeding a lot of retired geriatric farm animals.Snohomish Shepherdesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01223525267522865376noreply@blogger.com
